How accurate is the weather data?
Doublecast relies on the OpenWeather API for weather data. No forecast is ever perfect, but OpenWeather uses its own Global NWP models that combine the following sources:
- NOAA GFS 0.25 and 0.5 grid sizes
- NOAA CFS
- ECMWF ERA
- METAR stations
- Users’ stations
- Companies’ stations
- Weather radar data
- Satellite data
